3rd DUI Offense in California
It can be an unfortunate fact, but most drivers in California are going to receive a ticket at some point in their lifetime. The majority of tickets are simple violations that drivers may rectify by paying fines or making a call to an attorney to have their charges reduced or removed. Drivers that receive a misdemeanor DUI are going to be in for a much different situation. Without the assistance of Mr. Ticket, those convicted of a DUI are going to be thrown into a complicated and serious legal situation.
Most drivers believe that the DUI laws in California limit convictions to those with a .08 percent BAC or higher. While this is the limit in which a driver is almost guaranteed to receive a DUI, some arrests can take place for BAC levels as low as .03 percent.
A single DUI could cost a driver $10,000 or more after all is said and done. This is going to include DMV fees, court fines, impound fees, bail, sobriety classes, and huge increases to one’s insurance premiums. There will also be an immediate license suspension and years of informal probation. California DUI penalties for a third DUI will enhance all of these costs as well as potentially revoke a driver’s license for 10 years.
Drivers that are under threat of multiple convictions are going to need the services of our California DUI attorney. Without expert legal representation, a misdemeanor or felony DUI in California could haunt an individual for the rest of their life.
